  • Account Registration & Login Data (OAuth):
    • Google: When you register or log in via Google, we collect your email address, name, and profile picture to create and authenticate your account.
    • X (Twitter): When you choose to register or log in using X, we collect your X username (handle) and email address strictly for the purpose of creating your account, authenticating your login, and managing your user profile on our platform.
  • Notion Integration Data: We request authorized access to your Notion workspace solely to read the databases you select and write (save) Tweet content into them.
  • User-Generated Content: We temporarily process the content of the Tweets (text, links, images, authors) you choose to save via mentions or Direct Messages (DMs). We do not store this content permanently on our servers after it has been successfully transferred to your Notion database.
  • Usage Data: We collect basic analytics (e.g., IP address, browser type, save history, and error logs) to maintain and improve our service.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected data strictly for the following purposes:

  • To manage your account registration, authentication, and login process via Google or X.
  • To provide the core functionality: saving Tweets to your authorized Notion database based on your commands.
  • To manage your subscription and enforce usage limits (e.g., 1 save per hour for free users).
  • To communicate with you regarding service updates, billing, or customer support using your provided email address.

3. Google API Services User Data Policy Compliance

Save2Notion's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We strictly use Google OAuth for authentication purposes and do not sell or share your Google data with unauthorized third parties.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal data. We may share your data only in the following limited circumstances:

  • Service Providers: We use trusted third-party services (e.g., Paddle for payments, cloud hosting providers) who are bound by confidentiality agreements.
  • Legal Compliance: If required by law, subpoena, or other legal processes.

5. Data Security & Retention

We use industry-standard encryption to protect your data and OAuth access tokens. You can revoke our access to your X or Notion accounts at any time from your respective account settings. If you delete your Save2Notion account, we will delete your access tokens and personal information from our active databases.
