Yes! Saving tweets via public mentions (@save2notion) is completely free. To ensure a stable and fast experience for everyone, free accounts are limited to 1 save per 2 minutes. You can unlock unlimited saves by upgrading to our Pro plan.
Can I save tweets privately without a public reply?
Absolutely. We understand you might want to keep your timeline clean! Private Chat (DM) saving is a premium feature coming very soon. Pro users will be able to simply tap the 'Share' icon and send the tweet via Chat to @save2notion to save it silently behind the scenes.
Does it save the whole thread or just one single tweet?
By default, if you reply to any tweet within a long thread, we automatically unroll and capture the entire thread, formatting it beautifully into a single Notion page. If you only want to save that specific single tweet, just include #Tweet in your reply. 💡 Pro Tip: You can easily add database tags on the fly! Just include standard hashtags like #AI or #Crypto in your reply, and they will be synced as Notion tags.
Do I need to install a browser extension?
Nope! Because Save2Notion works directly through X (Twitter) mentions, you don't need to install anything. It works perfectly on the native Twitter mobile app (iOS/Android) and desktop browsers.
Why didn't my tweet save to Notion after mentioning the bot?
If your save didn't go through, it is usually dwrapue to one of these 5 reasons: Not Following Us: You must follow @save2notion on X (Twitter). We require this to prevent spam and ensure our bot can successfully interact with your account. Please drop us a follow and try again! Accounts not connected: You haven't authorized your X and Notion accounts yet. Visit the link in our X bio to set it up in seconds. Private Account: The original author of the tweet has a private/protected account, which our bot cannot access. Cooldown Limit: You might have hit the free tier limit (1 save per 2 mins). You can always check your real-time bot status and save history on your Save2Notion Dashboard. X (Twitter) Spam Filter: Sometimes, X hides or flags replies from free accounts as spam, meaning our bot never actually receives your mention. (Using Private Chats as a Pro user solves this permanently!)
